We approached this complete renovation of a block of10 flats on City Road in the North London borough of Islington as a single project, with our designers, architects and designers working hard to modernise each one for residential use.

In each of the 10 flats, we installed new bathrooms complete with fittings and appliances, along with new kitchens. Using a design that was implemented to create extra space and allow in as much natural light as possible, the result was a look that belied the relative restrictions on available space.

Also included as part of the works was the installation of new flooring, complete new electrics and plumbing, providing all necessary amenities for family living. The final steps of the job involved adding new flooring and giving the properties a fresh, new look with a new paintwork applied throughout.

Closely monitoring quality control during construction, we achieved our goal on time and on budget. While this is not the biggest project we’ve ever been involved in, it remains one that we’re extremely proud of.
